SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024


SSC will hold the Combined Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) Exam 2024 in the CBT mode across the Nation, in which a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked from different sections, get the detailed information from below.

  • Mode: Computer-Based (Online)
  • Duration: 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for a scribe)
  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Question Type: Objective Multiple Choice
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Marking Scheme: 2 Mark for each correct response, and negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer

  • General Intelligence
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill)
  • English Language (Basic Knowledge)
  • Medium: Bilingual (English and Hindi)
Each question will be of 1 mark and there will also be a provision of negative marking, for incorrect response ½ mark will be deducted.
