Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2024 for Forest Guard, Forester, and Livestock Inspector Posts. The commission received online applications from eligible candidates through its official site from 26 October 2023 to 25 November 2023.

Odisha Combined Recruitment Exam Schedule
The Commission will organized the OSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment Exam from 24 April to 07 May 2024 in multiple shifts. Applicants are advised to download their admit cards and appear at the allocated exam centers as per the reporting time. Also, the other details about exam centers, date & time of the exam will be printed on the Odisha CRE Admit Card.
OSSSC CRE Forest Guard Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
Only objective-type questions asked in the exam.
There will be a total of 150 questions overall.
Each question will carry one mark.
There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

In this written exam, the minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, and Sportsperson category of candidates is 30% and for all other applicants, this criteria will be 35%. For Gomitra candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will be 20% only.
Odisha Forest Guard Admit Card Details
The OSSSC Forest Guard Admit Card is released online a few days before the exam. Candidates can visit the official website and download their respective admit cards. Applicants are advised to take a printout of these admit cards along with an original identity proof and recent passport-size photographs while going to the examination hall. Also, the following details to be printed on the Odisha Forest Guard Call Letter must be verified by the candidates.
